Tips Before Traveling for Umrah
The train is the best transport for pilgrims. Here are essential tips:
1. Ihram and Miqat
If traveling from Madinah to Makkah, the train passes the Miqat very fast. It is highly recommended to wear your Ihram garments before boarding and make the intention (Niyyah) when the onboard announcement is made.
2. Luggage
Travel light to make boarding and alighting easier, as train stops are brief.

During Umrah seasons, tickets sell out fast. Book your tickets weeks in advance.
